Dražen Grujić was born in Bosnia and Herzegovina and graduated Philosophy and Sociology at the Philosophical Faculty. He has worked in fields of photography graphic design for years. His works were presented at three 4 solo exhibitions in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
About his work: photographs shouldn’t to be confined only to their content, just like Arts shouldn’t be confined only to beauty, where the notion of beauty is connected with liking without any interest. Photographs, showing fragility of the surface or the real texture of an object, represent details in unusual compositions. The complete aesthetic enjoyment is given only to those who manage to liberate themselves from the link with an image of the projected object. Releasing them from the need to transmit information, the author separates them from the object itself and emphasizes their form.
