Born in Celje in 1981. He studied at Faculty of Arts Ljubljana.
Urban is a visual and performance artist active in the wider European region. He is a founding member of a London-based artist collective “Buy the Costumers” and transitive artist collective “Marvelous World Wide”. So far he collaborated on various performance and visual arts projects in Slovenia, Italy, Austria, UK and Yugoslavia. His works research fragmentation, destruction, transformation and creation as such. His research is specialized in the translation as a wider strategy, as a process of recombination that can be applied not only to language but also to art-forms and art-fields. He constantly remains in-between and lurks on the borders of conscious experience, declining and subverting possible definitions of the unpredictable phenomenon of  Whiteness.
